RECREATIONAL PILOT

RECREATIONAL PERMIT :

Able to fly an airplane is in the dream of many people. You want to do as Mermoz, ie fly like a bird. We can realize your dream. Permit recreational license is the fastest and easiest way to get there. You will be able to pick up a passenger to travel across Canada by day only. It is based on almost the same exercises as the private pilot license.

Course schedule :
- After a few hours of dual flight, a first theoretical test on the air regulations (examination passed at school) and after getting a radio operator certificate, the student will LACHE SOLO. Then, while practicing the exercises alone on board, it will be prepared for a flight test.

Minimum Requirements:

- Flight training:
25 Hours in total:

  • 15 hours of dual flight with an instructor
  • 2 hours of solo flight, the student is alone at the controls
  • 8 hours dual and solo

- Ground Training :

The theoretical property is not mandatory to pass the theory test AFPR recreational pilot, you are strongly advised to follow to gain a solid foundation of knowledge that will serve you throughout your life Aeronautics and help you move knowledge test. These courses focus on 4 subjects for a period of 45 hours:

                                - Air Law
                                - Navigation
                                - Meteorology
                                - Aeronautics - General Knowledge

Duration :
- Depending on your availability

Requisite qualification first:
- Age: 16 years for the flight test and 14 for the first solo flight
- Medical certificate Class 4, 3 or 1

Test :

- Flight Test with an examiner from Transport Canada
- Written test: grade on the written exam 60%
(Please note that it is possible to pass the theoretical examination of the recreational pilot or private pilot PNC PPAER for this training)
